Chamber hosts appreciation days
The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce rounded out Chamber Appreciation Days Nov. 8 at the chamber’s newly-remodeled office in downtown Russellville.
The two previous appreciation days were hosted in Red Bay and Phil Campbell.
“The time spent in each city allows us the opportunity to visit our members, along with potential members,” explained Chamber Director Cassie Medley.
The Appreciate Day was one of the first gatherings the Chamber has had in its remodeled office, which is sporting new paint, flooring, furniture and more. Several Chamber directors attended, as well as many Chamber members.
“These appreciation gatherings are a wonderful way to say thanks to old friends and newcomers,” Chamber board member Ann McDermitt said.
State Farm Insurance agent Lee Nickels said he enjoys going to the Chamber Appreciation Days because “it’s a time I get to connect to people I don’t see on a regular basis.”
