One-car crash kills PC man

A vehicle crash involving a rollover took one Franklin County man’s life last week.

Oct. 16 at 6 p.m., the Quad Cities Trooper Post of the Alabama State Troopers responded to a one-vehicle crash on County Road 77 near County Road 56 in Franklin County.

Troopers said the driver of the vehicle, Phil Campbell resident Ronnie Presley, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Franklin County coroner.

The vehicle left the road and rolled over, trapping Presley in the vehicle. Troopers said speed was a factor in the crash, and Presley was alone in the vehicle.
