UA announces graduation list for summer

The University of Alabama awarded some 1,342 degrees during its summer commencement Aug. 4.

UA offers its students a premier educational, cultural and social experience with more than 200 undergraduate, graduate and professional programs. Among the graduates were these from Franklin County:

  • Emily Burkett of Hodges, education specialist
  • Ronny Juan-Miguel of Russellville, bachelor’s degree in commerce business administration
  • Sonya Sanderson of Red Bay, master degree in social work

The University of Alabama, the state’s oldest and largest public institution of higher education, is a student-centered research university that draws the best and brightest to an academic community committed to providing a premier undergraduate and graduate education.
