Wrestling event comes to BHS

Franklin County wrestling fans have the chance to unite Sept. 28 at Belgreen High School and witness Stars Wars 2018.

Starting at 7 p.m. the four-part event includes former WWE wrestler Johnny Swinger, Action Mike Jackson, Doink the Clown, The American Brawlers, Thundercat and the Ultimate Dragon.

“We’re very excited to have this come to Franklin County and Belgreen,” said BHS Principal Ann Scott.

The main event is the $1,000 King of the Ring Battle Royal. The second main event will be the United States Heavy Weight Title Match with Johnny Swinger versus The Wrestling Superstar. The Southern Tag Team Title Match will be Action Mike Jackson and Doink the Clown versus The American Brawlers. The United States Junior Championship Match will be Thundercat versus Ultimate Dragon.

Advance tickets can be purchased at the BHS office for $8. Tickets will be $10 the day of the show. Ringside seats will be available. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. There will be an autograph party at CJ’s Grocery from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
