Donald Lee Cantrell

Donald Lee Cantrell, 58, of Red Bay, passed away June 15.

Donald attended the Huntsville ASL Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was a mechanic at Long Lewis Ford, where he was a Certified Ford and Certified Chevy mechanic, as well as an awesome backyard mechanic. Even with his hearing disability, he always worked hard and was one of the best mechanics around.

He was frugal with himself so he could be generous with others, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone.

He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

The visitation will be 4-5 p.m. June 22, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville.  The memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. with Bro. Eric Fortmeyer speaking.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Verdie Harold and Donna (Sanders) Cantrell, and brother, Daniel “Danny” Albert Cantrell.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Victor Cantrell and Israel Todd Cantrell (wife, Lisa); sister, Connie Kuykendall; his four-legged friend, Biscuit; many beloved nieces and nephews; and countless friends and co-workers.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you pick up Don’s torch and spend the money on a good deed for someone.

Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.  To leave private condolences, visit www.sprymemorialchapel.com.
