William “Oscar” Hutcheson
William “Oscar” Hutcheson, 90, of Phil Campbell passed away Jan. 23 at his residence.
Visitation will be Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Merrell Potter and Bro. Joe Spiller officiating. Burial will be in East Franklin Cemetery.
Oscar was a member of New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.
He was born Aug. 17, 1927, in Phil Campbell to William Ed and Velma Hutcheson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Letha Davis, Arvie Young and Irene Nix, and brother, L.C. Hutcheson.
Oscar is survived by his wife, Jean Hutcheson; his children, Gary William Hutcheson, Steve Alan Hutcheson (Patsy) and Anita Kay Spiller (Joe); his siblings, Wyatt Hutcheson (Cathy) and Wendall Hutcheson (Barbara); his grandchildren, Scott, Adam, Michelle and Amanda; and his great-grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Dylan, Penny, Coda and Lachlan.
Akins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
