Lady Bobcats keep winning

The Phil Campbell Bobcat girls moved to 11-2 with wins over Winston County and Belgreen before the Christmas Break.

Phil Campbell jumped on Winston County early to take an 18-6 first quarter lead. The Bobcats overwhelmed the Yellow Jackets in the second quarter 29-11 to take a 47-11 first half lead and cruise to the easy win.

Kallie Allen led Phil Campbell with 14 points. She was followed by Dakota and Darby Elliott with 10 points each. Abby Davis, Chloe Roberson and Carley Nix scored eight points each. Caitlyn Mills added six points, Kaci Harris two points, Cayman Quinn two points and Olivia Taylor one point.

Phil Campbell 64, Belgreen 41

The Phil Campbell Bobcats used a strong second quarter to put away the Belgreen Bulldogs.

Phil Campbell led Belgreen 16-12 at the end of the first quarter. The Bobcats blew past the Bulldogs in the second quarter to take a 40-24 halftime lead. Phil Campbell led 49-33 at the end of the third quarter.

Allen led Phil Campbell with 19 points and was followed by Roberson with 15 points. Davis scored nine points, Dakota Elliott seven points, Darby Elliott six points and Harris three points. Taylor and Mills finished with two points each, and Nix added a point.
