Jewel Dean Poston Hallman

Jewel Dean Poston Hallman, age 76, of Russellville, passed away Dec. 14 at Burns Nursing Home.

Jewel’s favorite enjoyment was spending time with her family.

The visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Dec. 17 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Bro. Darryl Whitehead will officiate the service, and burial will be at East Franklin Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Hallman; son-in-law, James Odom; parents, Andrew and Viola Poston; and sister, Jean Poston Porter.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 61 years, Ollie Verdo Hallman; daughters, Joyce Hallman Odom and Joann Hallman Wood (husband, Scotty); daughter-in-law, Joann Hallman; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim Poston (wife, Dot), Junior Poston (wife, Sherry) and Raymond Poston (wife, Sue); sister, Kathleen Paul; and several nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be Robert Poston, Anthony Poston, Andy Hallman, Kevin Poston, David Craft and Nick Craft.
