“I am very proud of these young ladies,” said Vina coach Paul Humphres. “We started the season with an average team time of 27 (minutes) and finished the season with an average team time of 24:45, improving every week.”

Hailey Cantrell ran her best time of the season (27:28). Other members of the team who achieved PR times in the race were Maddison Mills (26:51) and Sara Scott (26:19).

Also competing for the Red Devils were Rayleigh Guinn, Lacey Scott and McKenzie Lawler.

“These young ladies worked hard all season long,” said Humphres. “They ran their best race at sectionals.”
