Suspect burglarizes local businesses
The Russellville Police Department is on the hunt for a suspect who burglarized local businesses at approximately 1 a.m. Sept. 21.
Sgt. Jake Tompkins said that the suspect is a white male who was wearing an Auburn hoodie at the time that the incident occurred. The suspect was caught on camera but has yet to be identified.
“We need him found. If anyone knows who he is, please let us know,” Tompkins said.
He also wanted to remind citizens they can give tips and information anonymously and let the Shoals Area Crime Stoppers know.
The suspect is possibly facing charges of two counts of burglary 3rd degree and theft of property, Tompkins said. He stole items from two of the four buildings he broke into, including large amounts of cash and electrical devices.
“We believe he entered in on the south end of the building and proceeded from there,” Tompkins said.
