Charles Edward Mitchell

Charles Edward Mitchell, age 76, Russellville, passed away Sept. 23 at Russellville Hospital.

The visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 26 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Jarrod Helms officiating. The burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Edward Mitchell; father, William Lester Mitchell; mother, Lenice Jackson Mitchell; and brother, Avery Mitchell.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Ruth Marie Rogers Mitchell; children, William Mitchell and wife Pam, Willard Mitchell and wife Donna, Jennifer Malone and Deborah Rutherford; grandchildren, Douglas Hale, Zachary Hale, Ashley Saifi, Holly Klehn, Taylor Rutherford, Blair Rutherford, Shane Mitchell, Kyle Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell, Kristen Nix, Karsen Carpenter, Katelyn Carpenter and Olivia Mitchell; five great-grandchildren; siblings, David Mitchell, O.D. Mitchell, Carl Mitchell, Betty Harris and Joey Mitchell; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be Shane Mitchell, Kyle Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell, Allen Mitchell, Larry Mitchell and Leslie Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be Davey Mitchell and Karsen Carpenter.
