FC T.R.A.C.K.S. program opens afterschool program sign-ups
Franklin County Community Education has begun the 2017-2018 T.R.A.C.K.S. afterschool program for the six county schools.
The program offers enrichment activities, STEM and robotics activities and much more. Each site is staffed with experienced personnel to keep students safe and happy and keep them learning.
T.R.A.C.K.S. is open to all students grades Pre-K through 9 at each of the county schools: Red Bay, Belgreen, Tharptown, Phil Campbell, Vina and East Franklin. Four-year-olds must be enrolled in a Pre-K program. There is a $20 registration fee per student, and weekly tuition rates are $15 per week, with a sibling rate of $10.
The program is in session every school day, 3-6 p.m. A snack is provided each day. Students may be picked up at their parents’ convenience during those hours.
Additionally, academic assistance, robotics and arts are offered for grades 10-12.
Registration forms may be obtained at any T.R.A.C.K.S. site; at the Community Education office; at the Board of Education office; or on the Franklin County Board of Education website, www.franklin.k12.al.us.
