Teresa Oliver Pickett

Teresa Oliver Pickett, 57, of Hilliard, Fla., formerly of the East Franklin community, passed away Aug. 19 at Life Care Center in Hilliard, Fla.

Visitation will be Aug. 22 from 5-7 p.m. at Pleasant Hill FCM Church, Phil Campbell. Funeral services will be Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill FCM Church with Hulon Heath officiating. Burial will be at East Franklin Cemetery.

Teresa was born Nov. 8, 1959, in Franklin County, to Jimmy H. and Eliouse Morgan Oliver. She was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents, E.A and Lucille Morgan and Waymon and Flora Mae Oliver; her uncles J-Floy Oliver and E-Toy and wife Yvonne Oliver; and a host aunts and uncles.

Mrs. Pickett is survived by her husband Edward Pickett, her mother Eliouse Morgan Oliver, one daughter Tracy Pickett, one son Edward “Bubba” Pickett, her brothers Dinkey Oliver and wife Darlene and Terry Oliver and wife Rhonda, two grandsons and two granddaughters.

Pallbearers will be Galon Baker, Scott Banks, Waymon Oliver, Jeff Massey, Dennis Morgan and Justin Massey.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made for the funeral expenses.
