Linda Darlene Echols

Linda Darlene Echols, 57, of Russellville, passed away Aug. 17 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Born in Freeport, Texas, she was a housewife and mother.
Visitation for Ms. Echols will be Aug. 20 from 2-3 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. with Jerry Pounders officiating. Burial will be in Clute, Texas.
Ms. Echols’ survivors include her husband, Lanny Greenhill, of Russellville, and two sons, Michael and Kevin Echols of Texas. Also surviving are her mother, Rebecca Gromey; brothers, David, Dennis and Rick Gromey, all of Texas; two grandchildren; two stepsons, Michael and Shawn Greenhill; and three brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lynn D. Gromey Jr.
