Opalene Kinard
Opalene Kinard, 81, Russellville, passed away July 23 at her residence.
She lived her entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She was owner and operator of Kinard’s Cafe in Russellville for 31 years.
Visitation will be July 24 from 5-8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral service will be July 25 at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Russellville, with Bro. Darren Steward and Bro. Randall Tice officiating. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Survivors include brothers, Marshall and wife Sue Kinard and Marlon and wife Judy Kinard; sister, Kay and husband Stanley Holland; nephews, Paul and wife Daphanie Kinard and John and wife Jessica Holland; nieces, Maye Winnette Kinard and Shana and husband Shawn Johnson; and four special nieces and nephews, Jordyn Johnson, Jaret Johnson, Elizabeth Holland and Everett Holland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William John and Effie Mae Cothrum Kinard; sister, Willie Mae Kinard; and nephews, Tommy Lee Kinard, Marshall Lee Kinard Jr., Silas Bartholomew and John Joseph Kinard.
