Evelyn Cummings

Evelyn Cummings, 69 years old, of Sanford, Fla., formerly of the East Franklin community, passed away July 7 at Deltona Health Care, Deltona, Fla.

Visitation will be July 11 from 6-8 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral services will be July 12 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Congregational Methodist Church, Phil Campbell, with Bro. Darryl Whitehead officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery.

Evelyn loved riding her Harley and was an avid member of Rolling Thunder. 

Evelyn was born June 18, 1948, to Earl and Hazel Galloway. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ray Cummings, her son Alen Cummings, her brother Dennis Galloway and sister Nona Galloway.

She is survived by her daughter Audrey Brown and husband Tim, son Al Cummings, brother James Galloway, grandchildren Racheal Brown, Jessica Brown, Melissa Cummings and Christopher Galloway and great-grandchildren Katie Lagaretta and Aubrey Brown.

Pallbearers will be Mark Goins, Tommie Parrish, Ken Bowling, T.C. Dawson, Ralph Perry and Jim Vandiver.
