Franklin County Commission honors Phil Campbell fishing team

The Franklin County Commission presents a resolution to the Phil Campbell fishing team in honor of the team’s performance and accomplishment in winning the 2017 Alabama Student Angler Bass Fishing Association State Championship. The team claimed the state victory earlier this spring and was honored at the commission work session June 12.

The resolution reads in part that the commission “notes with great appreciation the fact that the Phil Campbell Fishing Team effort has brought great pride to the entire County and favorable attention to the great school system at Phil Campbell High School by bringing home the championship and indeed they bring great honor to themselves and their sponsor and are deserving of highest praise for their dedication efforts and accomplishments.”
