Betty Ruth Duncan Roberts

Betty Ruth Duncan Roberts, age 68, of Four Oaks, N.C. (formerly of Franklin County), passed away May 16 in the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, N.C.

Born Oct. 14, 1948, in Franklin County she was a daughter of the late Daniel Webster and Erin Pauline Bragwell Duncan.

The visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 21 at Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville. The entombment will be at Franklin Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

She leaves to cherish her memory her longtime companion, Curtis J. Bullock of Four Oaks, N.C.; brother, Glynn Duncan and wife Eve of Red Bay; sisters, Emeline Howard of Des Plain, Ill., Christine Gresham of Russellville, Geraldine Childers of Iuka, Miss., Wanda Coats of Red Bay and Vanessa Duncan of Aberdeen, N.C.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
