Lillian King Kent
Lillian King Kent, 101, went home to be with the Lord May 2 at her residence. She was born in Bethany, Mo., in 1915 and was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Red Bay.
Services were held May 4 at 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Tommy Brooks officiating. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Miss.
She is survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.D. Kent, her parents, Samuel E. and Myrtle Linville King, six brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers were Tommy Brooks, Patrick Brooks, Billy Bolton, Dexter Bostick, Bro. David Kelley and Harold Entrekin. Honorary pallbearers were Earl Paden and Bill Nabers.
Visitation was May 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
