James Lee Hamilton

James Lee Hamilton, 69, Russellville, passed away April 17 at his residence.

Mr. Hamilton proudly served his nation in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He was a kind, sweet and caring man who never met a stranger.

The visitation will be 11 a.m. to noon April 22 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russellville. The funeral will follow at noon at Kingdom Hall. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens, with military honors.

Mr. Hamilton is preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Lucille (Winchester) Hamilton.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his brothers, George Hamilton, Harold Hamilton and Bobby Hamilton; sisters, Arma Jean Hubbard, Kathleen Hamilton, Carlis Davis and Judy Davis; a host of nieces and nephews; and special goddaughter, Gwenievere Mae Alleva.

His nephews will assist the family as pallbearers.

The family would like to extend a special heartfelt thanks to his caregivers, Tebra Morgan, Jocelynn James, Shannon Childers, Mandy Smith and Denise Hallman for their love and care to the family. Also a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Gentiva Hospice and to his special neighbor, Mrs. Lily Mae, who helped to make his life comfortable.
