Billy Joe Pharr

Billy Joe Pharr, 73, passed away March 15 at his residence. He was born in Marion County and worked in trucking.

Graveside services were held March 17 at 3:30 p.m. at Pilot Hill Cemetery, Vina, with Jason Pharr and Bro. Ray Kirk officiating. Burial was in Pilot Hill Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Pharr, Vina; three children, JoAnn Morrow and husband Byron, Hodges, Jenny Emmons, Gulf Shores, and Scotty Pharr, Vina; eight grandchildren, April Morrow, Alex Hester, Jonathan Pharr, Chase Pharr, Aaron Hester, Kelly Morrow, Draven Summers and Mollie Emmons; seven great-grandchildren, Addison Williford, Lydia Pharr, Kamryn Hudson, Emery Pharr, Cutler Pharr, Harleigh Means and Charlotte Hester; two brothers, Alvin Pharr, Atwood, and Justin Pharr, Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe W. Pharr and Clementine Scott Pharr; four sisters, Delia Emerson, Bonnie Davis, Linda McCarley and Wilbie Turbyfill; and one brother, Milford Pharr.
