Northwest-Shoals Community College Student Ambassadors wrapped up the semester with a tailgate party for the Phil Campbell Campus students. This group also assisted with College Day and Made in Franklin County events this semester. The Ambassadors are a group of students who help to promote school spirit, assist in receiving guests at official functions, go to area high schools for recruiting purposes, act as hosts to welcome visitors to the administration and faculty, take high school seniors and other interested persons on tours of the campus, and serve at other college and community events. Selection is based on an interview, academic achievement, personality, community involvement, and extracurricular activities. Ambassadors include the following from Franklin County: Lauren Brewer (Hodges); Kodie Gray (Phil Campbell); Brooklyn Bolton and Danielle Hastings (Red Bay); Makayla Franks, Meaghan Hardy, Lily Holt, Nelda Otzoy, Brady Petree, Josh Pinkard, Nathaniel Rea, Mike Rice, Maggie Williams, Kalley Baker and Jill Masterson (Russellville); and Lacey Wilson (Vina).
