Ruth Davis McDaniel

Ruth Davis McDaniel, 88, of 115 Briarcliff Place, Danville, Va. passed away July 14 at her residence. She was born on September 25, 1927, in Russellville to the late Ruby Davis Ranize and the late William Davis.  Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by her husband Eulis S. McDaniel on Aug. 12, 2009.  She was a member of The Church of Christ.

Mrs. McDaniel was survived by her daughters, Scarlett M. Zaremba and husband, Ed of Lake Mary, Fl., Tonya M. Anderson and husband, David of Lakeland, Fl., Bettina M. Morrison and husband, Jeff of Danville, and LaJuana M. Lanham and husband, Craig of Shelbyville, Ky.; her grandchildren: Taleah Anderson, Tyler Anderson, Malina Ruth Burnett, Miles Morrison, Mason Morrison, Tivoli Dickinson, Trevor Lanham and Tiera Lanham; and her great-grandchildren: Harper Anderson and Sawyer Anderson.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by her four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. July 20 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville. Interment will follow at Franklin Memory Gardens, Russellville.

The family will receive friends July 19 from 6-8 p.m. at the Pinkard Funeral Home.
