The Russellville High School boys’ golf team played April 15 at Deer Run. The boys played against Florence and Lawrence County in the match. Their final team score was 174, putting them in second place, falling behind Florence, with a team score of 167. The Golden Tigers beat Lawrence County by ten strokes. Leading the team in scores was Tristan Tubb with a score of 40, followed by Cameron DeArman, who shot a 42, Brayden Bendall with a 44 and Carson Reeves with a 48.

RHS’ girls golf team played in the Huntsville Panther Invitational at Hampton Cove April 11. The tournament included multiple teams attempting to shoot the lowest to win the 18-hole match. Russellville girls golf had a team score of 300 in the tournament – not quite enough for a win. Leading the team was Morgan Moon with the score of 96, followed by Ashton Moore with a 100, Josie Willis with a 104 and Bailey Tubb with a 105.
