Emma Priest gets a block at the RMS 8th grade volleyball team tournament recently at Muscle Shoals. The team finished the day in 3rd place, going 4/2 on the day. In pool play, scores were Russellville versus Brooks, 23-25, 25-22 and 150-12 (Russellville); Russellville versus Florence, 25-14 and 25-21 (Russellville); Russellville versus Brooks, 25-18, 22-25, 15-8 (Brooks); and Russellville versus Florence, 25-23 and 26-24 (Russellville). In tournament play, Russellville went 21-25, 25-16 and 16-14 over Mars Hill but lost to Muscle Shoals 29-31, 25-23 and 9-15.
