Lady Golden Tigers pick up win at home, 52-43

Russellville 52, Fairview 43

The Russellville Lady Golden Tigers started the night on a 9-0 run and went on to defeat the Fairview Lady Aggies in a home area game.

Ashley Dunstan led the way for Russellville with 20 points.  Dunstan was consistent with 10 points in each half.  Eight different players scored for head coach, James Bostick’s Russellville squad.

Russellville led at the half by a score of 29-24 and Fairview only trailed by two at the end of the third quarter.

It was during the final quarter when the Lady Golden Tigers pulled away for good outscoring the Lady Aggies 14-7 in the final period.

Along with Dunstan, Russellville got points from Peyton Hester (8), Aleshia Phillips (7), Angela Woods (7), Abby Holcomb (3), Madison Hargett (3), Michaela Smith (3) and Patricia Borden (1).
