Arrests made following investigation
A Franklin County man and woman have been arrested following an investigation into illegal drug activity.
Donnie Gay Isom, 3341 Franklin 83, Russellville, and Lisa Lynn Larkins Jordan of the same address, were arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking and Altering Firearm ID/Possessing Firearm with Altered ID.
Following information received concerning illegal drug activity at an address on Hwy 83 in Russellville, Ala., investigators with the Franklin County Drug Unit made the arrest after obtaining a search warrant.
On the morning of December 9, 2014, the search warrant was executed at the location by the Drug Unit assisted by Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies and Russellville Police. Illegal drugs were seized from the residence along with cash, cell phones and weapons with altered serial numbers.
