Lady Wildcats clinch 42-33 win over Lady Bobcats

The Tharptown Lady Wildcats held the Phil Campbell Lady Bobcats to just two points in the first quarter and led 8-2.

The Bobcats came storming back in the second quarter outscoring the Wildcats 18-11 and cutting the lead to just one, 19-18, going into the locker room.

Tharptown was able to outscore Phil Campbell 11-8 in the third quarter and 12-7 in the fourth quarter to get the 42-33 win.

Kaitlyn Vandiver led Tharptown with 12 points. Other scoring for the Wildcats were Danielle Creasy (8), Jessica Wilson (8), Kamri Sears (4), Brooke Daniel (3), Kathy Alfaro (3), Haley Malone (2), and Savannah Robinson (2).

Taylor Pace led Phil Campbell with 16 points. Others scoring for the Bobcats were Tori Pace (8), Madison Hardy (4), Elisabeth Benford (3), and Vickie McAlister (2).
