Two charged after three year-old tests positive for cocaine

Two Russellville residents were arrested late last week after a 3-year-old child in their care tested positive for cocaine.

Crystal Gail Hollins, 33, and Rolando Perez Godinez, 34, both of 51 Lakeview Dr., Russellville, were each charged with one count of chemical endangerment of a child, Russellville Police Chief Chris Hargett said.

According to Hargett, the police department was contacted by the Franklin County Department of Human Resources who had received a call that the female child was being exposed to drugs.

Hargett said DHR conducted drug tests on the child, which came back positive for the presence of cocaine.

The girl was placed in DHR custody, officials said.

Bond for Hollins and Godinez was set at $20,000 each.
