Michael Keith Davis, 55, of Vina, Ala. died May 21, 2011 at the NMMC. He was a self-employed contractor for 34 years and attended Grace Community Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Al. with Bro. Tony Daracott officiating.  Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

He is survived by one son, Dustin Davis, of Belmont; one grandson, Ethan Davis, of Belmont; two sisters, Brenda Hensley, of Golden, Miss. and Gail Strickland and husband, Athel, of Tremont, Miss.; two brothers, Dale Davis and wife, Tammy, of West Point, Miss. and Jeff Davis and wife, Lyndi, of Belmont, Miss.; two step-sons, Keith Henley, of Tupelo, Miss. and Jeff Henley, of Belmont, Miss.

He was preceded in death by one son, Mitchell Bryant Davis; his parents, Doyle and Justine Scott Davis; and two nephews.

Pallbearers were Butch Collins, Justin Scott, Lynn Scott, Robert Scott, Thomas Garrett and Chris Davis.  Honorary Pallbearers were Terry Scott, Ben Davis and Daniel Patterson.
