Virgie Eleander Welch Clark, 75, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at her residence.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 5, 2011 at New Life Ministry Church with Bro. Woodrow Taylor officiating. Burial was in Belgreen Cemetery. Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Clark; parents, Frances Marion and Ellen Adel Welch; daughter, Glenda Gann; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Everett and husband, Larry, Brenda Kinard and husband, Junior, Vernell Allison, Peggy Colburn and husband, Roland, Patty Wallace and husband, Richard; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, James Earl Welch and wife, Bertha; sister, Velma Parrish; sister-in-laws, Becky Welch, Ruby Duncan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The pallbearers were David Channel, Chris Oswalt, Shawn Walker, Cory Fuller, Blake Fuller, Lonnie Gann, Josh Scott, and Lucas Colburn. Honorary pallbearers were Mike Inman, Tyler Williford, and David Gosa.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kelly and also to the Northwest Hospice for the love and care shown.
