Donald Ray Heaps, born September 14, 1961, beloved son and father, age 49, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby R. Heaps; infant son, Chason Heaps; and grandparents, Floyd and Katherine Myrick, Johnny and Louise Heaps.
Funeral service will be Sunday, May 1, 2011, at 1 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with Tommy Gasaway officiating. Burial will be in Bethsaida Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Russellville. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Eloise Myrick Heaps; daughter, Stephanie Leigh Heaps Cockrell and husband, Jerad, sister, Karen Lynn Taylor and husband, Keith; nieces, Megan Powell and husband, Nathan, Ginny Thompson; great-niece, Veda Powell; special cousins, Dale and Wayne Garrison; and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Terry James, Norris Fuller, Nathan Powell, Phillip Fuller, Roger Allen and Ronnie Allen.
Honorary bearers will be Dale Garrison, Wayne Garrison, Jim McGalliard, and Ricky Taylor.
