Della M. Wilcox
Della M. Wilcox, 93, of Littleville passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011, at her residence.
She was a native of Tennessee, but had lived for the past 20 years in Littleville. She was a member of the Harriman Baptist Tabernacle Church in Harriman, Tenn.
Her entire life revolved around her children and family. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a wonderful woman.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 25, 2011, at 11 a.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Russellville with Rev. Jeff Parrot officiating.
Burial will follow in Hyde Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include daughters, Betty White, of Tuscumbia, Barbara Dyke, of Tuscumbia, Doris Turner, of Tuscumbia, Karen Himpelmann, of Chicago, Ill.; sons, Jerry Glenn Wilcox, of Tuscumbia, Teddy Wilcox, of Chicago, Ill.; sister Milly Beets, of Knoxville, Tenn.; 27 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 21, great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Joe Dewey Wilcox; parents, Luke and Birdie Hendrix; sons, Rodney Wilcox, Marvin Wilcox; daughter, Wilma June Helton.
