Edward T. Hall, 87, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011.
He was a native of Tennessee, but had lived in Russellville for the past five years. He was a member of the Baptist church and retired from American Tobacco Company.
Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 14, 2011 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Bobby Joe Poss officiating. Burial was in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae Hall, of Russellville; brothers, Eugene Hall, Johnny Hall and wife, Pinkie, Lenny Hall and wife, Grace, all of Virginia; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Waymon Cheek, Loyd Burfield, John Cheek, Marvin Gann, Wesley Holden and Hunter Cole.
He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Gussie Hall; sister, Florence Purchia; brothers, Frank and James Hall.
