Kelly Bolton, 87, of Red Bay, Ala. passed from this life Dec. 6, 2010 with his wife of 62 years, Beauton Bolton, at his side at their residence. He was born June 24, 1923 in Red Bay and was a construction contractor for 40 years. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Red Bay. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II.
Funeral services were held Dec. 8, 2010 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bor. Larry Hill officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Beauton Bolton, of Red Bay; two sons, Chuck Bolton and wife, Susan, of Tuscumbia, Ala. and Richard Bolton and wife, Suzan, of Kennesaw, Ga.; daughter, Rebecca Bolton, of Red Bay; two brothers, Robert Bolton and Wilbert Bolton; two sisters, Frauline Winters and Ersie Stanphill; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Emma Alice Bolton; brothers, Edgar, Chester, Claude, Otis, Clovis and Foy; sister, Audrey Gray.
Pallbearers were Fred Bolton, Jeff Bolton, Sam Bolton, Rickey Bolton, Cleston Bolton and Lewis Fredrick.
