Vina visits Phillips

VINA — The Red Devils will try to pick up their first win of the season this week when they resume region play at Phillips.

Vina still has a slim chance of reaching the playoffs, but the Red Devils must win their final four region games, get some help and win some tiebreakers.

Phillips is in the same boat.

The Bears have played uneven at best and are giving up an average of 40.6 points per game. It might be the game Vina needs to get the offense, which is averaging 8.2 points per game, rolling.

The Red Devil defense must also play well to win this game. Phillips is averaging 29.6 points per game while Vina is allowing 32.8 points per game.
