Auburn travels to unfriendly confines of LSU

Auburn started the season with a five-game wining streak, but has dropped its last two games.
The Tigers might lose their third straight this week as they travel to Baton Rouge to play LSU in a Saturday night game.
The Bengal Tigers play notoriously tough at home and especially so during night games where the crown is loud and rowdy.
Auburn, which averaged more than 500 yards per game on offense during the wining streak, has struggled to move the ball consistently in the losses to Arkansas and Kentucky.
Ben Tate is averaging 122.3 rushing yards per game, which ranks him seventh nationally, and has cracked the 100-yard mark five times.
Quarterback Chris Todd has been inconsistent in recent weeks, but is 17th nationally in yards per completion (13.61) and 37th in passing efficiency (149.45).
Todd will have to be on top of his game tonight as the LSU defense has intercepted a pass in eight consecutive games.
The Auburn defense will have to play its best game of the season if it wants to control the LSU offense.
LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson has completed 91-of-145 passes for 1,016 yards and seven touchdowns while only throwing three interceptions.
Brandon LaFell and Terrance Toliver are the top receiving tandem in the SEC. They have caught a combined 52 passes for 686 yards and seven touchdowns.
Charles Scott is the Bengal Tigers' bruising running back. He has 327yards and a pair of scores. LSU has not scored a rushing touchdown against Auburn since 2003.
Defensively Auburn is led by Craig Stepehns who is third in the SEC with 62 tackles. He has recorded double-digit tackles in three of his last five games.
This has been a close series in recent years as eight of the past 14 games have been decided by seven points or less, including the past five in a row.
