PC, CHS to battle for first win

PHIL CAMPBELL – When Phil Campbell and Clements walk off the field Friday one team will be happy and the other will still be searching for answers.
Both teams are 0-2 overall and 0-1 in Class 2A, Region 8.
The Phil Campbell offense is averaging 14 points per game, but the defense is allowing 45.5 points per game.
The Colts are having the same problem. They are scoring 13 points per game and allowing 26 points per game.
The Bobcat's competition has been tougher so far. They lost to East Lawrence – a 4A school – and Tanner, which is ranked second in class 2A.
Clements cannot be counted out though. The Colts rode late season winning streaks to playoff berths the past two seasons.
The game, which is the first home game for Phil Campbell, begins at 7 p.m.
