Marion County couple arrested by RPD

Two Marion County natives were arrested in Russellville Wednesday on drug manufacturing charges during a routine traffic stop.
Russellville Police Chief Chris Hargett said John David Dulaney, 54, of Highway 32 in Hamilton, and Lee-ann Nicole Parker, 25, of Park Road in Hackleburg, were charged with second-degree manufacturing a controlled substance after an officer found precursors for methamphetamine manufacturing in their vehicle. The pair was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
"One of our K-9 officers made a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon, where the precursors were found," Hargett said.
According to the Alabama Criminal Code, second-degree of manufacturing a controlled substance is a Class B felony, which carries a punishment of two to 20 years in prison upon conviction.
Officials said Dulaney remains in the Franklin County Detention Center pending a $3,500 bond while Parker was released from the facility on a $3,500 bond.
