Lady Bobcats roll to tournament title

Four different players had at least two hits and Kim Clark pitched a complete game on Saturday as Phil Campbell pounded Hackleburg 13-1 to win the Hackleburg Invitational.
Caitlin Stancil led the Lady Bobcats (7-4) at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Chasity Morgan and Shaela Pace each went 2-for-3 with a run, and Clark was 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored.
Clark (1-0) held Hackleburg to one unearned run on three hits in five innings. She struck out two and did not issue a walk.

The Lady Bobcats scored four runs in the fourth inning to rally for the win.
Melissa Russell earned the win, striking out nine in a complete game one-hitter. She did not allow an earned run.
Shaela Pace led Phil Campbell at the plate with two hits and a run scored. Chasity Morgan went 1-for-3 with two runs scored, and Alexis Maggerise added a triple.
