Red Bay tennis teams beat Belmont

Red Bay High School's tennis teams cruised to wins over Belmont on Thursday, with the boys winning 9-0 and the girls posting an 8-1 victory.
Wesley Jarnigan (an 8-0 win), Matthew Young (8-2), Toby Gray (8-0), Jeremy Johnson (8-3), John Thigpen (8-0) and Kirk Armstrong (8-4) all won singles matches for Red Bay. Jarnigan-Young (8-0), Gray-Thigpen (8-1) and Johnson-Chris Funderburk (8-1) all won doubles matches for the Tigers.
On the girls side, Paige Palmer (8-1), Kolby Weaver (8-4) and Tamera Burleson (8-5) won singles matches for Red Bay, while Morgan Duncan, Natalie Green and Paige Duncan won by default.
Palmer and Morgan Duncan (8-5) and Green and Paige Duncan (8-6) each won doubles matches for Red Bay.
