Red Bay golf team edges Russellville

Grant Fancher fired a round of 36 on Tuesday, helping Red Bay (Orange) edge Russellville (Black) 165-168 in a match at Redmont Country Club.
Casey Keeton shot 40 for Red Bay (Orange). Brian Brown led Russellville (Black) with a round of 40, and John Seal shot 42.
Ty Trapp shot 47 to lead Russellville (Gold), which finished at 202.
Kaleb Blackburn shot 49 to lead Red Bay (Blue), which came in at 210.
"It's always kind of tough over there at Red Bay," RHS coach Phil Phillips said. "We got off to a slow start but we rebounded pretty well and that's what you look for."
Russellville earned a win at home earlier this week, defeating Shoals Christian and Deshler on Monday at Twin Pines.
Russellville (Black) shot a 159, led by John Seal's round of 38. Brian Brown shot 39, and Brett Fish and T.J. Seagraves each shot 41. Trea Mosley closed out the scoring for Russellville with a 51.
Taylor Reeps and Ty Trapp each shot 52 to lead Russellville (Gold), which finished at 213. Nick Ross shot 54, Cody Bragwell finished with a 55, and Alex Pounders came in at 58 to finish the scoring for Russellville (Gold).
Ben Wood shot 37 to lead Shoals Christian, which finished second with a 164. David Willingham led Deshler (188) with a 40.
Playing as an individual, Chase Hutcheson of Phil Campbell shot 40.
