The Russellville Police were called to Russellville Middle School and Russellville High School when several counterfeit bills were passed off as real bills at the school cafeterias last week.
Russellville Police Chief Chris Hargett said that two RMS students and one RHS student have been charged with first-degree possession of forged instrument.
The three juveniles photocopied real currency and tried to make it look as real as possible, Hargett said.
"We have recovered two $20 bills but are still looking for three $5 bills at this point," Hargett said.
The juveniles are currently in juvenile detention.
