Sara Hall Donaldson Gaskin

Sara Hall Donaldson Gaskin passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2007, in Haleyville Health and Rehab.
Born in Fairview, she was a retired Textile sewing machine operator for more than 25 years. She attended the South Haleyville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Gaskin; one step-son, Joey Gaskin; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Hall; three brothers, Leslie, Lecil and Jack Hall; and a son-in-law, Charlie Hughen, Tuscaloosa.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at Pinkard Funeral Home with Vance Hutton officiating. Interment was in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mrs. Gaskin's grandsons.
Mrs. Gaskin is survived by three children, Shirley Hughen of Tuscaloosa, Stanley Donaldson of Jasper, and Jenny Barton and husband Ronnie, of Delmar; six grandchildren, Stan Morrison, Lori Lancaster, Scott Hughen, Jason Barton, and Lee and Shane Donaldson; eight great-grandchildren; Tyler, Anna and Trent Morrison, James and Will Lancaster, Hill Hughen, Andrew Barton, and Braxton Donaldson; seven sisters, Eula Tidwell, Ruth Ward, Ernestine Waldrep and husband Arley, Martha Greer and husband Charlie, Mae Jean Johnson, Audrey Dobbs, and Wanda Setliff and husband Jimmy; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Arthur Melvin Sutton, age 66, of Phil Campbell, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2007.
Mr. Sutton was preceded in death by a son, Dale Sutton; his parents, Melvin and Bertha Tanksley Sutton; and a sister, Edna Kinard.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at Phil Campbell City Cemetery with Bro. Brian Scott officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Brian Sutton, Taylor Sutton, Titus Stockton, Raybon Stockton, James Stockton and Jeff Fowler.
Mr. Sutton is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pauline Stockton Sutton; a daughter, Brenda Sanchez; a son, Donald Sutton and wife Laura; a step-son, Tommy Voyles and wife Jane; two grandchildren, Brian Sutton and Taylor Sutton; two step-grandchildren, Heath Voyles and Abbigale Voyles; a step-great-grandchild, Harley Voyles; and a nephew, Ricky Kinard.
Spry Chapel assisted the family.
