Conner, Boyd wed in July

Mia Krystine Conner of Montgomery and John Bradley Boyd of Russellville were married on July 28, 2006, in a sunset ceremony on the beaches of the Caribbean at Aventura Spa Palace on the Mayan Rivera.
The bride is the daughter of Krys Ann Conner of Montgomery and the granddaughter of Blanche Maxine Braddy of Montgomery and the late Don Ludlow Braddy.
The groom is the son of Lee Boyd of South Pittsburg, TN, and Denisha Blackwell of Russellville. He is the grandson of Corinne Blackwell of Russellville and the late Mayor John Blackwell, and Carl Boyd of Littleville and the late Barbara Boyd.
Witnesses attending this event were Denisha Blackwell, mother of the groom; Corinne Blackwell, grandmother of the groom; Jennifer Boyd, sister of the groom; the best man, Derrick Mnick, a friend of the groom from Orlando, Florida; Jennifer Gammons; and Annette Moore Duncan, a friend of the family.
A traditional Mexican wedding reception was provided by the Aventura Spa Resort, where the couple was to spend their honeymoon. The couple now resides in Vestavia Hills.
The bride will be graduating from Auburn University of Montgomery in Paralegal Studies in December. The groom is attending Birmingham School of Law.
