Horton, Baker

Lauren Marie Baker of Conroe, Texas, and Lucas Blane Horton of Decatur were married Saturday, May 8, 2004, at Shepard Hill Bed and Breakfast in Willis, Texas, with the Rev. Richard Noack officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dr. Jim and Christy Baker of Conroe, and Blane and Susan Horton of Decatur.
Grandparents of the bride are Frances Baker and the late James Baker, and Betty Wappler and the late Marvin Wappler.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Ray and Annette Reeves, and Kenneth and Pauline Horton.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Shades of Grey String Trio.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a diamond white, silk satin gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves and a deep V-neckline. The mermaid-style skirt flowed into a garden-length train. Her white veil was edged in sheer organza ribbon. She carried a bouquet of stargazer lilies accented with spring flowers.
Matron of honor was Sarah Bierhalter of The Woodlands, Texas.
Other attendants were Jamie Canton of Conroe, Julie McClellan of College Station, Texas, and Stephanie Williams of Port Neches, Texas.
Braden Land of Clinton served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Matt Harris of Decatur, Paul Houghtaling of College Station and Matt Jenson of Huntsville, Texas.
A reception was held at Shepard Hill Bed and Breakfast following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in Estes Park, Colo., the couple resides in Starkville.
