Kavin, Oilschlager

Mary Frances Oilschlager of Oxford and John Paul Kavin of Memphis, Tenn., were married Saturday, March 13, 2004, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Oxford with the Rev. Taylor Moore officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Holt Oilschlager of Lexington, Ky., formerly of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. William David Kavin of Brentwood, Tenn.
Grandparents of the bride are Carl Albert Oilschlager and the late Mr. Oilschlager and Jimmie T. Franklin and Paul Lamar Franklin.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. James Paul Kavin and Mrs. Simon Smith and the late Frank Carl Wood.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Dr. Martha Hitch, organist, and Gina Sexton, vocalist.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of white Italian satin, featuring a halter-style neckline. For her headpiece, she wore a veil of silk illusion with edges of white satin piping. The bride carried a bouquet of red roses.
Anne Kristina Oilschlager of Oxford served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Shelby Todd Cribbs of Oxford, Emily Kavin of Brentwood, Sarah Jennings Nally of Lexington, Mary Luckett Pettit of Baton Rouge, La., Margaret Elizabeth Shelton of Oxford and Shannon Aleighsha Wilson of Lexington.
Joshua David Kavin of Brentwood, Tenn. served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Thomas Eugene Cribbs Jr., Bryon Dean Cohron, Aaron Michael Dewey, all of Oxford, William Clarke Dwane and Ryan Gillespie, both of Lexington, Ryan Thomas Foster of Nashville, Christopher Ryan Garner of Memphis, John Christian Millican of Sebastian, Fla., Matthew Michael Johnson of Charleston, S.C. and Derek Alexander Oglesby, of Memphis.
Program attendants were Kristi Marie Gee.
A reception was held at The Oxford-University Club following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in France, the couple will reside in Memphis.
