Grant, Gresham

Dr. and Mrs. Frederick Young Grant of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Joy, to Miles Edward Gresham, son of Dr. and Mrs. Miles Edward Gresham of Birmingham, Ala.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 22, 2004, at 6:30 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church.
Miss Grant is the granddaughter of Mrs. Douglas Edward Walker of Cuba, Ala., and the late Dr. Walker; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Warren Grant Sr. of York, Ala.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Lamar High School. She will graduate cum laude in May from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.
While attending Ole Miss, she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and served as chapter correspondence. She was active in Reform University Fellowship.
Mr. Gresham is the grandson of Mrs. William Benjamin Gresham of Birmingham and the late Mr. Gresham, and Mrs. James Harold Walsh of Birmingham and the late Mr. Walsh.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Briarwood Christian School in Birmingham and received a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Mississippi.
While attending Ole Miss, he was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and active in Reform Christian Fellowship. He is currently a dean's list scholar student at the University of Alabama School of Law.
A reception will be held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony.
