Harrelson, Gallion

Sarah Bridges Gallion and Benjamin Wayne Harrelson were married on Saturday, June 7, 2003, at Highland Baptist Church in Meridian with the Rev. Dr. Carl White officiating.
Parents of the couple are Beverly Knight Gallion of Meridian, Merrill Lee Gallion of Kenner, La., and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Dale Harrelson of West Point.
Nuptial music for the ceremony was provided by Tammy Miles, pianist; Greer Goldman, organist; David McKinney, trumpeter; and Shellie Denham Goodman, vocalist. Scriptures were read by Courtney Jane Kellogg and Matthew Brinkley Umphlett.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a formal two-piece gown in ivory bridal satin with a halter-style neckline bodice and a fitted Basque waistline embellished with beading and embroidery.
Her A-line skirt flowed into a chapel-length train. Her veil of tiered illusion fell from a crystal headpiece. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of Anna roses and held an heirloom handkerchief belonging to her maternal grandmother.
Lindsey Gallion Swift, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Anna Elizabeth Penick of Jackson, served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Hilary Hornsby Gibbs of Valdosta, Ga., cousin of the bride, Anna Catherine Carty and Jena O'Neil Stone, both of Jackson, Caroline Gregory Landis of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Jessica Allen Barr of Jackson and Margaret Anna Reid of Oxford.
Catherine Jane Quackenboss of Atlanta, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl and Abbie Elizabeth Harrelson of Jackson, niece of the bridegroom, announced the bride by ringing bells.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Bradley Dale Harrelson of Jackson, brother of the bridegroom, Lance Allen Henley of Madison, Michael Trey Harris and Robert Armond Bradford of Houston, Texas, Patrick Ford O'Shea of Great Falls, Va., Preston Derek Grice of Hattiesburg and Justin Scott Elliot of Forest.
Ushers were Christopher Wayne Swift of Brandon and Robert Gregory Wilson of Ridgeland.
Hunter Wiles Wilburn, cousin of the bridegroom, served as ring bearer.
A brunch reception was held at Meridian Museum of Art following the ceremony. Program and registry attendants were Amber Denise Shannon, Elizabeth Anne Busbee and Leslie Sanford McKinney.
On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Weidmann's.
Following a honeymoon in Highland's, N.C., the couple resides in Nashville, Tenn.
