Memorial services for Helen Moore Dawson will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Central United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Semmes Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dawson, of Oxford, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003, in Meridian. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Meridian and an affiliate member of the University Avenue Methodist Church in Oxford.
She was an honors graduate of Meridian High School and an honors graduate of Mississippi University for Women. She also did graduate work at the University of Mississippi and George Peabody College.
Mrs. Dawson taught English and Latin in Brooksville, Suqualena and the Meridian school systems. She was a past president of the Meridian Junior Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter, Virginia Dawson Dorkey and her husband, Rick, of Belleton, Va.; a son, Thomas Winter Dawson and his wife, Susan, of Oxford; two granddaughters, Caroline Dawson White and her husband, Joel, of Virginia and Virginia Dawson Metheny and her husband, Jeremy, of Memphis; a sister, Mrs. Joseph L. Baier of Meridian; a brother, Thomas W. Moore and his wife, Claire, of St. Helena, Calif.; a great-grandson, Charles Dawson White of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Winter W. Dawson.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity or church.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Services for Daniel Wayne Martin will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church Enterprise with the Revs. Richard Cauthern, Billy Brumfield and Clay Chancellor officiating. Burial will be in Martin Family Cemetery with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Martin, 43, of Enterprise, died Tuesday, July 15, 2003, in Orange, Texas.
Survivors include his parents, Daniel Mack and Mary Virginia Martin; a son, Dillion Mack Martin of Enterprise; a daughter, Misty Danielle Martin of Enterprise; four sisters, Teresa Smith, Tammy Mathis and Tina Harbour, of Quitman; and Traci Rosales of Enterprise; maternal grandmother, Pauline Priester of Quitman; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
SEBASTOPOL Services for Charlene Sam will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Frances Robbins officiating. Burial will be in the church cometary with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Sam, 38, of Kosciusko, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at University Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include three daughters, Sabrina Sam, Andria Sam, and Shanika Sam, all of Kosciusko; three sons, Andrew Randle and Nathanial Sam, of Kosciusko, and Tavaris Sam, of Philadelphia; her mother, Helen Ann Sam of Philadelphia; four sisters, Janice Marie Stribling of Jacksonville, Fla., Catherine Lee of Philadelphia, Wanda Collier of Gadsen, Ala., and Denise Marcrum of Leeds, Ala.; two brothers, Eddie Evertte Sam of Philadelphia and Randy Miller of Bowling Green, Ky.; a special companion, Andrew Randle of Kosciusko; one grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Charles Everett Sam.

SEBASTOPOL Services for Sara Ann Tsosie will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in John Memorial Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Tsosie, 46, of Carthage, died Thursday, July 16, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her son, Chadwick Stewart Tsosie Sr. and his wife Shannon of Philadelphia; her mother, Lisette Kirk of Carthage; her father, John Billie and his wife Ida of Carthage; four sisters, Diane Thomas of Okemulgee, Okla., Betty Ross of Carthage, Martha Billie and her husband Harry of Glenpool, Okla., and Helen Billie of Carthage; three brothers, Johnny Billie of Dallas, Texas and Jimmy Billie and Bobby Billie, both of Carthage; three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special companion, Brian Willis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Stewart Tsosie.
Visitation will held at 11 a.m. today at Oka Homma Drive in Carthage.
Arrangements were incomplete Barham Funeral Home for Ruth Carr Vincent, 85, of Meridian, who died Thursday, July 17, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
